Heavy industry, precisely instrumented

From a PLC-automated cast house to a 10,500-tonne extrusion press and furnaces recorded to a tenth of a degree — this is the machinery behind every delivery promise we make.

Cast House

Metal quality is decided before the first pass

Our cast house runs on the proprietary CASTRIGHT II™ automation system — a PLC-controlled, premium-accuracy billet and ingot casting platform — paired with LARS™, an in-line liquid aluminium refining system that purifies the melt through high-energy diffusion and chemically driven mass transfer.

The result: billets and slabs with the internal cleanliness that extrusion dies, anodizers and aerospace auditors all demand — repeatably, heat after heat.

  • 4 melting furnaces of 66 metric tonnes each
  • 2 fully automated casting lines
  • 2 continuous homogenising furnaces
  • 4 batch furnaces and 2 coolers

Extrusion Lines

Press force from 1,000 to 10,500 tonnes

A graduated press line-up means small architectural profiles and massive industrial sections each run on the machine sized for them — not squeezed onto whatever is free.

Every line feeds a 26 × 6 m automatic cooling and conveying table with in-line straightening.

Heat Treatment

Furnaces that keep records like a laboratory

Solution and ageing treatment for extruded profiles of 4 – 6 m, in furnaces instrumented to aerospace expectations.

Class 1 temperature control

Class 1 thermocouples (±1.5 °C) with AMS-dedicated sensors at ±1.1 °C, and ±2 °C temperature uniformity across the working zone.

Full digital traceability

Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC recorders with certified thermocouple modules — every cycle archived from 0.1 °C resolution at 1-second intervals.

T77-capable ageing

Multi-stage, multi-ramp ageing furnaces with ±10% airflow uniformity and cold-air injection for low-temperature steps — repeatable by design.

Finishing

Straight, cut and ready for the next machine

Stretching & straightening

Dedicated straightening machines for solid bars, square, rectangular and hollow profiles — with the number of straightening rolls and planes matched to each section geometry for optimum results.

Precision cutting

Automatic single-head profile cutting (OMRM 125 AL) with a Ø 450 mm diamond saw, cutting at any angle from 0° to 180° — clean ends, exact lengths, no rework.

Rolled products are produced within a three-site European rolling network (Slovenia · Croatia · Serbia) — see the rolling programme.
