Aluminum plate is widely used in aircraft and mechanical engineering, and is an integral part of radio electronics, electrical engineering and other industries. They are manufactured by rolling with a thickness from 10.5 to 300 mm, a width from 1000 to 2500 mm, and a length of up to 30,000 mm.

Main types of slabs:

• Not clad – without additional designation;
• Clad – have 2 types:
• with normal plating – A;
• with technological plating – B;

Edge Type:

Trim edge;

Untrimmed edge;

They differ according to the condition of the material:

Without heat treatment – without additional designation;

(T) – Hardened and naturally aged;

(T1) – Hardened and artificially aged;

Advantages of aluminum plate:

• strength and high uniformity;
• high speed machining;
• manufacturing to required dimensions to reduce waste during processing;
• high resistance to corrosion processes due to the protective oxide layer;

Upon delivery, products can be manufactured with RT-Technical acceptance or PPP acceptance for use at military-industrial complex enterprises and shipbuilding plants.
